Percy watched her go, composing himself when she turned to leave. “Goodbye, Ginny,” he said with a wave to her retreating figure. Once she was gone, Percy turned back to Oliver and fell onto the sofa next to him. “Sorry about that. It sort…

“Well…at least she knows. That’s one family member down. A million more to go,” Oliver said, trying to lighten the mood.

He paused. Percy already knew it was true before she said it by the way she acted, but he supposed there was no way to deny that. “I can accept that, but just be… careful,” he said, hoping she knew he only had her best interest in mind.

Ginny smiled and ran over to her brother, she jumped and wraped her arms around his neck, pulling him into a hug. “Percy, thankyou, you are the first person who openly accepted it.”

Initially surprised by the hug, Percy snapped out of it and hugged her back. “Of course, Ginny,” he said, his voice much softer than it had been only minutes before during their argument. After all, he had to offer her the same that she did for him. Percy didn’t particularly like it, but he had to trust his younger sister’s judgement.

Oliver watched them both silently, trying to make himself as invisible as possible which was a feat for the former Gryffindor. He was glad that Ginny supported their relationship. But why did the girl hate him so much, personally? He guessed he would just have to ask later, taking this for what it was worth.

 Ginny untangled her arms then steped back, “Well I should let you two talk, I hope we can have tea again soon Percy. Bye guys.” She grabbed her bag and with one last wave she was out the door.

Oliver sighed, running a hand through his hair. “I just don’t understand why she is so angry at me. All I ever did was try to help her and then she insults me and when I try to be the ‘responsible teacher’ she take a piss at me even more. I can never win with her…mind you, if she ever met my sisters, we’ll both be in big trouble. The stuff they could all get into. They’ll either get on fabulously or horribly. Either way, it’s bad news for us.”

“You know me, Percy. Lots and lots of sugar,” Oliver said, taking over the couch. He tried to catch Percy’s eye to try and guess what he was thinking. Were they…

He didn’t let go, only smiling fondly, looking up at him before looking over to Ginny to see her reaction.

 Ginny took a deep breath and paused makeing sure she didnt say anything harsh, mean, or true. “Well I’m very happy for you both,” she replied, her voice laised with venom.

// Percy

Percy raised his eyebrows and shook his head. “You said you had studying to do?” he asked her while resisting the temptation to use the same tone.

//Oliver

Oliver watched the two red heads battle it out silently, sensing the storm over head. He kept his mouth shut, which he thought was a smart move.

Ginny walked over to Percy,…

“We have something to tell you but, I’ll let Percy finish,” Oliver added, sipping on his cup. He reached up though and took Percy’s hand in his own, squeezing it reassuringly.

And there is was. “Nothing really, just that the two of you seem to be together,” he said. It wasn’t as big of a surprise as it should have been perhaps, but he couldn’t help but feel at least a little protective of his sister.

 Ginny took a sip of her tea before asking, “Is this your way of asking me if it’s true?”

Percy looked at her for a few seconds before nodding. “I’m not known for being tactful.”

 A small smile formed on Ginny’s face, “Well spend some more time with Fred and George and I’m sure they will help you to become more tactful.” She replied avioding the question.

Percy cocked a brow. “Should I take that as a yes?”

 Ginny rolled here eyes, “Did I say yes, no I did not.”

Before Percy could retort, a knock on the door interrupted him. “Hold on just a moment,” he told Ginny before pushing out his chair and answering it. “Oliver,” he greeted with a smile before widening the door to let him in.

Oliver grinned at him, “Hey. Hope you’re not drowning yourself in grading papers cause if you are, I have come to save the day! How are you, pet?”

//ginny

 Ginny stood up and walked up behind Percy and gave him a look that said ohh really, “Ohh Pet, thats cute.”

Percy glanced behind himself at Ginny for a moment and felt his face grow warm. He busied his hands with ‘fixing’ his robes before turning back to Oliver. “I was just having a cup of tea with Ginny. Would you like one?” If ‘pet’ didn’t give it away, his voice sure did.

Noticing his mistake straight away, Oliver cleared his throat. “Well, if it isn’t the youngest of the Weasley’s. Hope you’re doing well. And as for the ‘pet’ thing, I call all my co-workers a pet name. Yeah, Percy is ‘pet’, Sprout is ‘sweet pea’, Flitwick is ‘Killer’ and I call McGonnagall ‘babe’. To which she takes a book and throws it at my head. If it weren’t for my Quidditch skills, I would have bumps every day.”
